The VCI stretch wrap or film is a triple-layered polyethylene co-extrusion enriched with specialized additives, it’s used for protection against corrosion of ferrous and nonferrous materials.
This film is used to protect metallic pieces that have not received prior treatment against corrosion. This protection can be used through direct contact or by vapour constantly emitted by the film.
Its mainly utilized in shipments or storage where the load is exposed to a humid environment for prolonged periods of time.
