Our plaster plastic is made with biodegradable resin Certified by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden (Certificate No. P804363F). Unlike other plastics on the market (oxodegradable), our plastic is truly biodegradable, with the active ingredient P-Life SMC2522 that helps bacteria to disintegrate plastic without causing harm to animals and the environment.
Many of the manufacturers offer oxodegradable film, which quickly turns microplastics but is not easily disintegrated by bacteria, such as biodegradable. This type of plastic is very harmful to animals since they ingest it together with water, causing the death, especially of marine animals. Due to the damage caused by oxodegradable plastic, it does not comply with international certifications and is not suitable for exports.
One of the most common uses of biodegradable sand, or biodegradable stretch film, is to pack export fruits and vegetables. This is why we ensure that our resin is completely safe in contact with food, having the certification of the US FDA for “Substances for Use as Basic Components of Single and Repeated Use Food Contact Surfaces”.
