The pre-stretched plastic stretch wrap or film for manual use is a butylene-based polyethylene co-extrusion with high performance metallocene, which improves its mechanical properties in order to achieve higher resistance in low calibers.
The key difference between the traditional manual plastic stretch wrap and the pre-stretched film is the load retention and resistance achieved with much lower calibers, this improvement is due to the pre-stretching that it undergoes.
The final result is a plastic wrap with a higher resistance and very little elongation, thus it no longer requires as much tightening to contain the product packaged in an optimal way.
